Slow Day, Reading, Erratic Weather

Perhaps my slowest day in quite some time.

Woke up late. Ran to the shops. Came home. Ate my breakfast-turned-lunch, scrambled eggs and spinach, around 1:30pm. Showered. Read a book. Read some more. Checked the time. Saw it was nearly 6pm. Gasped

Took two steps out of the front gate only to be blasted with sideways wind. Settled for a brisk walk around the block.

But, in true Edinburgh fashion—everything cleared within five minutes. Thankful, we decided to walk through Dean Village and along the water instead. Great decision. It was lovely.

Came home. Flicked the oven on. Cooked. Ate. Washed up. All in very little hurry. Wasn’t my finest work in the kitchen tonight, but not too bad. The cucumber raita I decided to put together was a hit.

Now I’m here. Not much to show for the day, per se. Doesn’t particularly matter. We go again tomorrow!
