The Race of a Lifetime: In Pictures

Hey! It’s been a while since Betong, and that whole ultra-marathon spactacle. Life moves on. But, it was pretty special, and I was quite cooked afterwards, so I don’t feel I ever did it justice.

Encapsulating a 12-hour race in words is quite difficult. It was a long, blurry day. The memory is fuzzy. I find it hard to describe what it was like besides putting one foot in front of the other. Luckily, I had others help document the journey for me—event photographers! Of course, allegedly, a picture can tell 1000 words. I’ve written thousands of words here, but seldom share any pictures of mine. Opposite today. Plus, I think the photos are just really cool.

So, yep, that’s it. Shoutout to the photo package setup they had for this event, too. Infinitely higher quality, cooler, more abundant, and cheaper than buying marathon photos in Australia. Until next time!
