Return to Realism
Decided to start reading Meditation for Mortals again today. It reminded me why it was a book I so enjoyed reading the first time. Nothing is sold to you. Little is asked of you. Imperfection is assumed.
It’s a nice little return to realism in amongst the constant emotional swings of day-to-day life. Be grateful for what you did manage to get done, not annoyed at what you didn’t. Find positivity in the mess of life. Embrace spontaneity. Don’t take things all that seriously.
Simple message, but a refreshing reminder.
