An Accessible Segue into Seaside Japan: Kamakura

Ice cream. Tsunami warnings. Winter provides a glimpse into a beautiful life possible here beside the sea, although probably not in it this time of year. The flocks of summer day trippers are yet to descend, although the main streets still feel busy-ish. We chose a random Monday to come here and I think that was a good decision. It meant we eventually had some space on the train and got the chance to tune in to the familiar ear-worm that is gently crashing waves. We had an absolute blast. More to come…
